Dr. Dinesh Patel was born in 1972 and studied in India. He received a master’s degree in Polymer Science in 1995 and a post graduate Diploma in marketing management, in 1996 from Sardar Patel University. Between 1995 and 2001, he worked in India for various companies like Asian PPG Industries, Synpol Resin etc. in their R & D and production department. In 2001, he joined National Paints Sharjah-UAE, for development, manufacturing and technical services of different types of paints and coatings used in the construction, industrial, marine, wood, automotive, can, coil and flooring industries. In Jan 2007, he was awarded the “coating inspector” certificate by NACE, USA.
In March 2007, he joined Bayer Middle East, Dubai (now “Covestro”) as a Regional Technical Manager for Middle East & Africa, in order to provide market development service for Coatings, Adhesives & Specialties (CAS) division of Bayer Material Science (now “Covestro”). During 2008 – 2009, Dinesh underwent extensive induction training in Germany for 18 months, to orient him with the range of “Covestro” products. In 2013, he accomplished PhD in Polymer science. At present we are helping ME-Africa customers for Covestro- CAS technical supports, training & regional development in technology of Covestro products.

In 2006, Mr. Sanaobar joined WACKER CHEMICALS MIDDLE EAST to oversee the technical services offered to the clients within the Middle East and Africa, improve the development of dry mix formulations, and administer safety and the quality measures that meet company guidelines and requirements of the ISO certifications.
Business Unit Director Paints and Plastics, FP-Pigments
After a degree in Chemistry from Nottingham University, Andy started work making polymers and subsequently industrial coatings for ICI in Birmingham in 1984. In 1991 he stepped into raw materials when he moved to SCM Chemicals (latterly Millennium Chemicals and now Cristal/Tronox) as a Technical Service Manager. There followed a 17 year career in TiO2, selling into both the coatings and plastics markets and ending up in some of their highest sales positions (Global Account Manager – Akzo, BASF, PPG).
In 2007 Andy moved out of TiO2 into coloured pigments as European Sales Director for Rockwood Pigments (now Venator), moving on the Cathay Pigments as VP for Global Key accounts in 2013.
In early 2017 Andy stepped back into the TiO2 sphere enticed by the next generation opacifying technology with FP Pigments and now heads up the Paints and Plastic Business Unit for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Since 2006 he has been working with Evonik Gulf FZE Dubai, UAE in the capacity as a Senior Business Manager for Middle East & Africa Region for Business Line Crosslinkers. He has 31 years in Coatings and related Industry with initial experience as a R&D Chemist with Asian Paints India Ltd, followed by active Sales and Marketing with Paint and Construction Chemical majors in India and at present employed with Evonik.
